The Daily Show Host Trevor Noah sparked outrage largely because he is obviously racist and does not understand or care about the people he offends. And his ratings prove it.
As a talk show host that is paid to discuss breaking news stories from around the globe, one would expect that he has plenty of material, yet his delivery offends. With this comment and many others like it, it is not hard to understand why ratings for the show have plummeted to a new all-time low. When experienced comedians were such as John Stewart or Stephen Colbert were at the helm, both the show’s writers and viewers understood what news was and what was funny because the truth can be funny.
The Daily Show Host Trevor Noah doesn’t like French Canadians or anyone else who doesn’t look like him. That’s not funny. Actually, a lot of what he says is not funny, so many people are repeatedly offended by him.
