Our little furry babies are special to us, and we all like to give them treats or table scraps. The truth is some of the treats that come from China are very bad we would go as far as harmfull, may even kill your furry friend. So here are some suggestions that will help you not only keep your dog healthy but keep there weight down. Remember that moderation is the key. Some fruits are high in sugar, and they can eat as much as us. So portion control. TotesNewsworthy urges you to use these suggestions as a treat, not meals. Instead of buying Chinese poison treats, which some are! Make no mistake about it!

Try this instead, and remember treat size. Not meal size.

Lemons:

Can you imagine your dog making gestures? So funny! You can share a bit of lemon juice with him. Chance are they will turn there nose up and walk away.

Peaches:

You can share with your dog some delicious peaches, be sure to remove the seed as with apples. Quarter to a half.

Pineapple:

Your pet will enjoy the tropical flavor of this fruit; you can share it for sure.

Raisins: WARNING!!

Generally known to be beneficial for your body, but in your dog, they can cause kidney disease. Avoid them.

Raisins made of dark grapes. Shadow raisins.

Watermelon:

Great to cool them off on a sunny day. If you want to share some with your dog, no problem, just be sure to remove the thick skin, because it can cause intestinal obstructions. Only the flesh you would eat.
