Next are artificial sweeteners, such as Aspartame. Many health experts believe these artificial sweeteners are significant players in the rise of American obesity. Sweet-tasting neurotoxins like those found in products such as Splenda are being found in more and more products yearly. While sugar can be bad for your body, it’s become clear that artificial sweeteners are just as bad, if not worse.

Other common food additives dangerous to your health include Monosodium Glutamate or MSG. MSG was most commonly associated with Chinese food a few years ago but is also found in numerous processed foods. Everything from frozen dinners to salad dressings can contain MSG these days.
