Entrance to the famous Boothill Graveyard in Tombstone Arizona

Boothill Graveyard is home to residents famous, infamous (and neither). It served as the city’s graveyard for about a decade in the late 1800s, and people of all cultures, classes of society and profession were buried here. The original cemetery fell into disrepair but was refurbished in the 1920s by a group of local citizens, and it has remained in that condition ever since. It has a unique ghost town “look” that you are unlikely to see anywhere else. This why most consider Tombstone Arizona The Real Wild West.
