FAT BLOCKING – Blueberries and blackberries contain dark pigments called anthocyanins, which are basically known to stop the formation of new fat cells, and at the same time prevent existing cells from soaking up fat.  Black & Blue Blast: 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries; 2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries; 4 cups lemonade. Puree ingredients in a blender. Equally divide the mixture into 12 ½-cup Popsicle molds. Freeze for 4 hours.

HUNGER SUPPRESSANT – Greek yogurt is packed with protein and L. acidophilus which decreases the amounts of leptin, which is the hormone that creates cravings and “hunger pains”. Raspberry Yogurt Delight: 4 cups plain Greek yogurt; 4 cups fresh or frozen raspberries; 2 tsps. Vanilla extract & ½ cup maple syrup. Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth. Equally divide the mixture into 12 ½-cup Popsicle molds. Freeze for 4 hours.

BLOAT BUSTING – The enzyme bromelain found in pineapples is credited with the power to break down undigested protein molecules in the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract) which initiate bloating and gas. Orange-Pineapple Treat: 2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks; 4 cups orange juice; 1 frozen banana. Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth. Equally divide the mixture into 12 ½-cup Popsicle molds. Freeze for 4 hours.

ENERGIZINGCyanidin and pelargonidin are the antioxidants found in strawberries which lend muscle cells the ability to absorb blood sugar and convert them into energy. Strawberry Bombshell: 4 cups fresh or frozen strawberries; 2 Tbs. lemon juice; ½ cup agave nectar; 2 cups coconut water. Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth. Equally divide the mixture into 12 ½-cup Popsicle molds. Freeze for 4 hours.

STRESS SOOTHING – Kiwi fruits are known for their high levels of Vitamin C which reduce the production of the stress hormone cortisol from the adrenal gland. Pineapple-Kiwi Pleasure: 4 cups & sliced kiwi; 2 tsp. lime zest; 2 Tbs. lime juice; 2 cups pineapple juice. Place a single kiwi slice in the bottom of each Popsicle mold. Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth.  Equally divide the mixture into 12 ½-cup Popsicle molds. Freeze for 4 hours.
