Sapphire Resorts knows that no one city puts on a party like Las Vegas, so this July, plan on a long weekend filled with fun, fireworks, and time spent poolside. Sapphire Resorts has all you need to make this weekend getaway the perfect balance of patriotic pride and good old fun.
Fireworks – The lights on The Strip are an everyday sight to be seen, but Fourth of July in Las Vegas means fireworks that cannot be beat! With half a dozen prime spots to watch, visitors will have a hard time deciding where to settle. Level 107 of the Stratosphere is a prime location to watch fireworks launched from the North Parking Garage. There will also be a pool party with live music on Level 8 for just $10. Station Casinos launches fireworks from Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock Casino and encourages viewers to set up with coolers and chairs in the parking lots, arriving early to secure a prime viewing location. Mandalay Bay joins the 9pm fireworks displays with live music. Caesars Palace shoots of fireworks from the Roman Tower at 9:15, and The Linq from the High Roller lot at 9:30pm. The Freemont Street Experience is free and open to everyone, with live music and fireworks on the display screens.
DJs – With hot parties all over the city aimed at impressing tourists, DJs will be in the spotlight both poolside and at the top nightclubs throughout the city. Four days of parties make this long-weekend the perfect time to club hop and check out Sin City’s hottest DJs. Chris Brown will be live in concert on Saturday at the Drais Rooftop Nightclub, Daylight will spend Friday through Sunday at the Beach Club, and Mike Attack will be at Marquee Nightclub on Independence Day.
Parade – Now in its 22nd year, the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade is a great way to start Independence Day. With over 70 entrants, including floats, marching bands, and Macy’s-style balloons, this annual event is not to be missed. Starting at Hill Center Drive at 9am, the parade winds through the flag-lined streets of Summerlin, ending at the Trails Village Shopping Center. Visitors will not want to miss this old-fashioned, hometown tradition.
