Book Your Adventure Hosts Business Meeting in Vermont
Book Your Adventure is inviting its members to meet up in Vermont to see what this East Coast state has to offer.
Burlington is one of the favorite tourist spots in the state with a wide range of activities for members. Just choosing which season to visit is what they need to agree on.
This area of the state is known as the Lake Champlain region but Burlington owns the nickname “Queen City.” It is the largest city in the state and is combinations of college town, mountainous terrain called the Green Mountains and of course the Lake Champlain Islands. Members of the Book Your Adventure will enjoy taking a ferryboat ride on this body of water that is the sixth largest lake in the U.S. It is a great spot for members in search of a more serene area to relax and soak in the spectacular views.
Vermont is also called the Green Mountain state due to the rolling mountains and numerous hiking trails with green peaks and sweeping vistas along the countryside.
The Long Trail is the oldest through-hike in this nation and many hikers come from far and wide to take on the challenge of walking it. In the winter many Olympians as well as mere beginners hit the slopes on these mountains for skiing, dogsledding, tobogganing, ice-skating, and riding in horse-drawn carriages.
Summers provide adventures such as swimming in natural water holes, playing tennis, mountain biking, air gliding, and golfing. In autumn, Book Your Adventure members can view brilliant foliage covered in extremely vibrant colors of magenta, orange, green, and more. People from all over visit to capture the picturesque views of the mountainside laced with color. Members can park themselves to sip on some cider at a picnic while you take in the majestic and scenery. No matter what the season, there is something for every member to enjoy.
For the shoppers in the Book Your Adventure group, there are plenty of options to take advantage of to buy new clothes.
The famous Church Street Marketplace is the main hub of Burlington. It is four blocks of shops with brick-paved, pedestrian-only streets mixed with dining establishments. Street performers are mixed throughout to entertain all who visit. Members who prefer a more big city feel can head downtown to Burlington Mall to check out the 50 retail stores with plenty of style variety for your shopping pleasure. Unique, one-of-a-kind pieces can be bought from local artisans that create sculptures, woodworking, and jewelry.
One of the little known facts regarding the state of Vermont is the fact it has more breweries per capita then any other state. Some are large regional breweries, others microbreweries, and some craft breweries that create one unique blend at a time. One of Vermont’s original craft brewpubs has such a following they even sell baseball caps, t-shirts, drinking glasses, and books about brewing ale.
No matter which season members choose to visit Vermont, Book Your Adventure has got them covered. This is one East Coast vacation they won’t want to miss.
